AIR FREIGHT TERMS AND CONDITION
- Above rates valid only for NON HAZARDOUS, GENERAL & NORMAL DIMENSIONAL cargo for 15 days from the date of quote unless otherwise specified.
- Any increase in weight shall vary the final cost. Chargeable weight might occur due to changes in volume/dimensions. *** Any change in weight proportionately changes in final rate.
- Fuel & Security surcharge (FSC,SCC) quoted based on prevailing tariff and subject to change with or without notification.
- The above rates and Services are NOT VALID for any “Deadline / Express / Exhibition” shipments. Subject to space availability by airlines.
- Transit time would be strictly subject to airline schedule, connection and customs clearance at both origin & destination.
- Inspection, Legalization, Attestation, Certification (Certificate of origin), Storage, Taxes, Forklift, Packing, Crating, Palletizing are not included in the above rates.
- Custom Clearance Charges , Custom duties , IGST and any other Local Charges are excluding in above quote & are at actual which should be paid by Customer.(if included above, please ignore this clause).
- Storage by carrier for any reason whatsoever shall be notified & charged (if applicable) as per their tariff / receipts.
- GST & Taxes will be on actual basis as per govt. norms.
- The Quote is subject to space and booking confirmation as per the carrier.
- The Quote Subject to Exchange rate at the time of billing.
- All origin charges on account of the shipper as per the Inco terms agreed with the buyer.
- All destination charges on account of the Consignee as per the Inco terms agreed with the buyer.
- Any source and destination Penalty and fines related to customs clearance due to discrepancy in shipper’s documents will be on client’s account.
- Credit terms or Terms of Payment as per agreement and subject to approval by NILKA AVIA & LOGISTICS LLP, Delhi INDIA and named party in the quote.
CLAIMS
- Claims related to loss due to Theft, Pilferage, Damages, and Misplacements should be settled by the Carrier directly. We shall not be responsible for inner damages though utmost care taken to safely deliver your shipment.
- Suggest you to INSURE your shipments. We can assist you in providing the INSURANCE charges separately if required.
- Imports: Not responsible’ for conducting Surveys for Damage/lost/wreckage of any cargo for insurance purposes. Hence the consignee has to arrange the survey prior to accepting cargo from Airline or Carrier in the event of suspected damage/ lost/ wreckage.
- Destination locals (unless quoted) are as applicable.
SEA FREIGHT TERMS AND CONDITION
- This is to inform all our customers and partners that COVID-19 global pandemic situation has created severe disruptions in Airlines and Shipping Lines schedules, services and availability of space for timely loading. Please note that these disruptions can cause delay / cancellation of our planned schedule of shipment leading to additional cost being incurred on the shipment being charged by Airlines / Shipping Lines on case to case basis. Therefore, all our quotations shall be subject to variance due to these factors.
- The transit time mentioned are based on the information provided by the respective ocean carrier under normal transportation conditions which are subject to change. Important Note: We highly recommend that you take a comprehensive insurance policy to cover this shipment. Carriers and Freight Forwarders liability is limited as per the terms and conditions of the Bill of Lading and NAFL trading conditions.
- During this time, facing extreme congestion at all seaports and inland rail CY’ due to the current market created by the global pandemic. For any move involving container drayage from USA, please note that all rates are subject to trucker and chassis availability at time of booking. We recommend booking at least two weeks in advance in order for us to arrange the move smoothly until the situation is getting better.
- Due to heavy congestion, at all seaports and inland rail cy’ due to the current market created by the global pandemic and due to this late arrivals of vessel into the ports the ERD and cut-off change without any notice, due to this change, when the container is loaded based on the earlier ERD would be moved to the truckers warehouse and due to which there would be additional charges like Storage, chassis, redelivery , LTL| LCL detention and FCL drayage detention, redelivery, storage or propel , Charges Related would be additional to the rates what we have quoted and will be notified immediately as soon as we have information from carrier.
- For any FCL Hazardous shipment, the final IMO approval is subject to carrier approval after the container is loaded. In situation of final IMO not approved on time and container cannot be gated in at the load port additional charges like storage, redelivery and chassis will be applicable, which would be additional to the rates what we have quoted.
- Alterations in the weight, volume/dimension or the commodity of the shipment will proportionately alter the charges.
- Rates are quoted based on Stackable cargo basis, unless specified in this quote.
- For free time, with legal Road/Rail permitted weight as per origin & destination and DOT rules and regulations/ road restriction unless specified in the quote.
- Pick up of the cargo would be subject to Trucker availability at the time of booking.
- Rate is applicable for non-hazardous cargo only, not applicable for Haze/overweight /Odd dimension cargoes unless specified in this quote.
- The quote does not include cargo insurance, for good order sake suggest you insure your cargo. On your behalf we can insure your cargo through an insurance broker. Please request for a separate insurance quote from us.
- Validity of the quote would be as mentioned and can be extended upon confirmation at the time of booking, subject to approval and filing.
- Free time at the Source & destination for Haze and Non Haze cargo would be as per the standard Tariff, unless specified in the quote.
- Rates are subject to General rate increase at the time of shipping.

- Unless mandatory legal provisions prevail and in case that we shall bear liability as contractual carrier under a unimodal or multimodal transport our liability shall be governed by the Bill of Lading terms.
- All rates are confidential and are intended solely for the use of the above addressed recipient. Breach of confidentiality may result in rendering this quote/offer null and void.
- GST & Taxes will be on actual basis as per govt. norms.

- The above rates are subject to (+/-) of any GRI/RRI/PSS or any surcharges as per the carrier’s announcement at the time of shipment.
- Subject to Exchange rate at the time of billing.
- Liner demurrage and Port/CFS detention as per the carrier’s tariff.
- All IGM docs must be submitted 10 days prior to vessel arrival to avoid any amendments.
- We have considered IHC, THC & local destination charges at actual, this will be on the basis of respective shipping line.
- The above rates are subject to inventory availability with the carrier.
- Any other incidental charges at the time of shipment are at actual.
